Alysha's Professional Bio

Alysha Beth Oclassen received a BFA in Dance from Cornish College of the Arts, Seattle, in 1997 and performed and choreographed professionally until 2012. She has completed training programs in both Classical Pilates with Roman Kryzanowska, and Balanced Body Pilates®.  She is registered E-RYT 500 YACEP with Yoga Alliance and most recently graduated from LYT Yoga’s 200 hour teacher training program in 2020. Alysha has logged over 20,000 hours of teaching experience blending Pilates and Yoga techniques with dance based strength training to tailor sessions specifically for each individual’s needs. Alysha is also a graduate of Academy of Somatic Healing Arts, Atlanta, specializing in Neuromuscular and Sports Massage.

In 2006 after years of exploration, Alysha returned to her hometown of Hailey Idaho to open a Pilates and Yoga studio. Here she developed her leadership skills while hiking in the mountains on her off time. In 2009 she started her dance ensemble “dirty feet dance company” and continued as the director until the company disbanded in 2012.

In 2014 she married her love and in 2017 she birthed her daughter.

2020 brought many changes, among them the opportunity for Alysha’s husband John to move their family to Hawaii. Alysha is overjoyed for the opportunity to split her time between the Idaho mountains and the blue waves of Maui.

Alysha is a dancer, movement instructor, massage practitioner, health advocate, writer, painter, wife, mother, friend, and explorer. Discovering the joy of movement has been a great gift in her life, and Alysha feels blessed to have the opportunity to share what she has learned while supporting others in their journeys. She loves cheering her clients on as they find their happy place in their own skin and is deeply committed to helping others express their joy.

With Wanderful Bodies, Alysha feels she is able to truly express herself and share her gifts. She bids you welcome!
